Fuel pump control is not needed. The best way to control the fuel pump on this engine is to use a tacho-metric relay (used in LPG systems) They switch on when they see a tacho signal.

Throttle control i could only assume is cruise control or tractrion control, Either way not needed.

I hear on other BB that there is a Sierra with a 1UZ, auto tranny and pu tcase in Australia, do you know something about this???

I am planning to swap this engine (JDM) in a car that is not a Supra. But reading the parts calalog and wiring diagram, there are couple of parts that not really what are they for and if the engine will run without it (or how to skip it).

I used a Eaton M45 out of a Mercedes C230 Kompressor, Apexi SAFC II, bigger injectors, BEGI as fuel regulator and Stck ECU.

I could not reach the differences among all FJ40 tcases. Which is the 4 speed? which the 3 speed? which the "Splited"? Who means a splited t case??
In the states did not arrived the FJ40 after 1979 or around, but here we got it till today, and we have another ...

just got to get a hammer and bend the seam over near the mud flap and they will clear with stock suspension and are you sure it has a 4y or a 22R, if your going to do any lift don`t touch the torsion bars better of doing a body lift

I would like to swap a 4Y petrol engine by a 3L diesel. So questions are:

- What do I need to swap it? (My 4Y is married with a G52 tranny)
- Which are the stock R&P for a 3L equipped toy? (I have 4.88)
- Any other issue that will hep me?

Fire wall is absolutelly different, tranny tunnel is not as wider, tranny stick hole is diferent, dashbords nuts are lower, body studs are shorter, rubber body mounts are smaller.

All other things are the same. I mounted a SJ410 body over my Samurai, using a Samurai Resine Top and old ...

Lots. I am doing this in my LWB, as when I started building it you couldn't even get an S1 let alone an S3. More importantly, there is lots of custom work - mounts, driveshafts ...

I am running 4.88 and 4.16 tcase and runs very good on highway.

When will you should be testing the engine with the blower installed???
