My GQ had the same problem, ended up doing 50mm bodylift and replaced all 10 body mounts at the same time , knocking under the feet gone. My mounts seemed fine aswell but must have been worn enough to give a knock.

GU 2 2001 (oct) - 2004 (sep)

just picked up a 99 gu 4.5 auto yesterday, question is on the dash should there be lights for P,D,R,1,2, there seems to be a space for it but i cant seem to see any display and it doesn't light up (if they are there) with the first click on the ignition,
