Was there ever any doubt ? :finger: So as of today I am now the proud owner of 3.9 ratio front and rear air locked centres . So 4.8's or 4.5 gears, either way I need to purchase transfer gears as the inchworm adapter is 23 spline . Need a hand to put that gearbag in ? Id be keen as for even a ride ...

Re: How do people rate the VDJ76R?
I've have friends with utes that have done a radiator the air bleed point cracked and leaked from the top tank, another mate in a Ute did a water pump as it was leaking from the telltail. Rear brake pad wear is excessive at times when the vehicle is used as a 4wd and the handbrake is sh!t. I can't ...

105 series front axle
Hi guy's Looking to beef up an 105 series Landcruiser front axle and notice there is not a huge aftermaket support for this axle . I read that the front axle has a different spline count to a 80 series (larger diameter??) so parts don't just swap over, I also read that the extra width of the 105 ...

On a work car a tailshaft was replaced "out bush" and the vehicle had a vibration that couldn't be found ...turn's out that the flange on the gearbox and the yoke (?) on the tailshaft self align via a protrusion on the yoke this was too large on the yoke, the fella fitting the shaft did the bolts up ...

Re: Tailshaft out of phase/ bad vibration
Has anyone had a clutch out of alignment before. If the clutch plate is out of alignment u wont get the gearbox back on, unless off course your spigot bearing has disappeared. Maybe the bearing is rooted? As cranky said and if so, when you put your foot on the clutch, the plate would centre anyway ...

Tube bending
Can anybody point me in the right direction, I'm looking for some reading material regarding bending tube .
I'm looking for maybe a guide to the mathmatics behind the bending eg: how much to allow for a bend, gains, losses etc.
Cheers

Taipan on mine happy with that ..as Joshy said easy to fit ...access dump pipe bolts through the plastic splash guard in the wheel arch with an open end ring spanner, tis easier than trying from underneath with a socket, swivel extension etc.

Re: 76 Series Rear Coil Conversion
Bru I got hold of a 105 series rear chassis cut (minus centre and axles), not sure of what year, thinking it should be a reasonably straight forward conversion . Measured from wheel mount surface to wheel mount surface on the 105 series and the front of my 09 76 series and found the 105 series 50mm ...
