Just pull the head and have a look, one way or another it's coming off. If it's using that much coolant and not showing from the outside it's something internal. You could have done some head damage, but again you aren't going to really know until it's off and you can get it tested for cracking ...

Just find a soft top in a car park and make yourself at home  A mate of mine fits your description exactly and he has no worries at all getting around in his Sierra - it's never going to be luxury, you get used to the inevitable discomforts every zook owner at first has to deal with, and then ...

yeah, it basically just feels  and it's easier to get in and out. Better for visibility while 4bing too. Also cool with the windscreen off, although i only do that when out wheeling not on the road. But I wouldn't do it without a rollcage ;) lol yeah cos that windscreen frame would be very ...

I have been trying for years to fix a similar problem on mine and it's still crap. I have repaired/swapped the carb several times and it always fixes it for a month or so, and then it's back to normal.

They are just crappy, really tempremental things - but they work alright when they rarely do work.

I have a mate that used to race Dunnydoors and Nissin GTR's at Bathurst. He reckons they would only use a 2nd hand block for their race motors because they have been "cured" and are worn in. Also I reckon if you do NOTHING else in the way of servicing AT THE VERY LEAST change air, engine and fuel ...

Mine are quite stiff indeed. They are yellow. I thought they'd tear up under hard use, but I put the springs in in january and they are still going alright. I wouldn't be suprised if they had 'softened up' under usage, too. I went to coventrys and two different suspension joints and all three said ...

I think I might just go with the ATs because I don't really trust a retread on low pressures and high speeds.
If I can get a 1lt case before then, I will keep the muddies on.

Little 'dilemma' about driving on the beach

Hey all I'm driving up to wedge island soon for the wkend, which is a reasonable beach drive in terms of distance, a few patches of it get a bit hairy. Anyways, I have a totally stock NT zook with 2" and 30" muddies on it. I have my old set of 27" ATs in the shed. I was considering putting my ...
