hey guys, might sound like a stupid question, but is it possilbe to waterproof the dizzy on the 4age? or sumhome make it possible so wen i got through water crossings it dosnt hate it as much?

i vote you do some searching. i am pretty sure there is a ton of info in the general section.. ideas from a garden glove with finger tips cut out to tupperware containers have been suggested...

I am not shore about the dizzy on a 4age but on my patrol and sierra i run a o'ring between the cap and base with ultra blue silicon and i put the ultra blue around all the leads before putting them on the cap never seems to fail i've had both very wet and still going strong
messy when changing leads extra but a small price to pay i think

Get a washing up glove and cut the fingertips off

Why dont you do the above then drill two holes one in the cap and one thru the bottom of the dissy. Run a tube from the bottom of the dissy to the carb and the other to the airbox. This way the dissy will have fresh dry air flowing thru it. Therefore any moisture will get sucked thru it.
