ive heard of ppl sealing the dizzy with an airtight container with grommets or silicone around where the leads go in and out, and then running a breather off the container

I have seen the cable tied up rubber glove work well once before!

Looks a little ghetto though!

I am not shore about the dizzy on a 4age but on my patrol and sierra i run a o'ring between the cap and base with ultra blue silicon and i put the ultra blue around all the leads before putting them on the cap never seems to fail i've had both very wet and still going strong

messy when changing leads extra but a small price to pay i think

Get a washing up glove and cut the fingertips off
Pass a lead through each finger and cabletie it for a seal
Cabletie the wrist around the dizzy base

Why dont you do the above then drill two holes one in the cap and one thru the bottom of the dissy. Run a tube from the bottom of the dissy to the carb and the other to the airbox. This way the dissy will have fresh dry air flowing thru it. Therefore any moisture will get sucked thru it. Pretty sure they done this on the lj80v.
Cheers Dan
