And by the looks of the description it spins anti clockwise. No good for you, you need a clockwise spinning pump.

Got a part number off this pump or a description number number ie ve6/this helps to tell me a good parts description. I think you may suffer from max revs issues.

Re: Anyone racing a 1HZ/1HDT/1HDFT or 1HDFTE??
I dont think anyone has the software or knowledge on changing the rom on the side of the pump, as this is set when on a test bench. I also believe that to do anything with the ecu is also very difficult, not impossible. Does that mean that you have remapped a nissan with a zd30 engine now? How did ...

All 1hz pumps have a 10mm head, all 1hdt and ft have 12mm. I somehow think no one will ever crack the denso computer for a 1hdfte, nor denso computers for any diesel, I believe the software is just too hard to get into.

Clear the codes and see what comes back, they may have been caused from some time back and have no relevance now.
Have you checked for grease in the bell housing, does it have loud mechanical noises at idle and then goes away once you touch the accelerator?

Re: duramax into 100 series
Actually a power stroke is now a 6.4 common rail, r compound turbo engine. In a std vehicle, the duramax and power stroke are pretty close to each other, just that a duramax seems to be more popular especially with performance parts. Killer lux, ive turned my pipe dream to some sort of reality, I ...

Re: duramax into 100 series
Does this mean by the stand alone wiring that killalux is doing for these engines that they could be fitted to anything? Does that include allison trans control as well? What other trans options are there for these engines besides the allison?
Thanks

Check your pump timing, let it run for a while and bleed any air out, he didn't adjust the screw or move it that sits in one of the side covers did he?
Put the bellows back on, it helps lose inlet noise.

The compressor wheel is bigger, you will need another compressor cover as well.

Re: ZD30 or YD25 ECU
Zd30 engines in navara and patrol use a Zexel vp44 pump. The connector has 6 wires at the back of the pump, can hi and lo, 12v and earth, a tdc signal and one other one which im trying to figure out. The pump has its own calibrated ecu which talks to the vehicle ecu via the can system. From the pump ...

Re: 4.2 Injector pump for Big HP
i'll have to check the specs but i'm sure it was set to more fuel than that. I use a bosch bench, denso test injectors, 150bar 12sd12 iso nozzles, 6x2x840 lines. Im pretty sure it left at 130-140cc from memory. However the request was 130rwkw, thats what it achieved. Hence me asking the question ...

Get a wiring diagram before you do anymore. The next ranger or bt50 we have in I will look to see if things can be turned of by the Ford ids scan tool. Im sure there is a can bus system in there somewhere. Diesel injectors generally work at 60-80 volts, 10-20 amps of current, injection intervals in ...

Re: 4.2 Injector pump for Big HP
What is Coopers style racing? Why such a high hp, does it require high speed 100% throttle? Im sure all the bolt ons will help, but don't think std internals will cut it for the long term. I think 15k would be a minimum in cost. As for w/m working, it allowed my 1hdt to gain 30rwkw on a 50/50 mix ...

I used to use a dd dyno, switching to mainline was a big step, but now getting close to 10,000 test runs on it, I wouldn't use anything less. The constant and future upgrades they do are fantastic. I have dynoed vehicles from 6 mths to 2 years ago and they redyno within 1-2kw from the last time ...

To be honest, all dyno graphs should show weather station info, your ramp rate, correction factor of whatever is being used and allow for user info to be added. Also date stamped. The flame and compression washers are copper and it doesn't matter which way they go. It sounds like you have toyota steel heat shields. I personally would be asking for the correct units.

Re: 4.2 Injector pump for Big HP
Its possible but will need a lot of fuel, air and a monster intercooler. I would think you need a pump that delivers over 230cc fuel at 1000 shots. The highest vehicle over our dyno made 200rwkw, gt2876 turbo, our pump. It was smokey and high on egt's. To make a broad useable power band I think you ...

There will be a hose coming of the ducting between the turbo and inlet manifold that goes to the inj pump. Thats a boost signal.

Northside, you didn't mention that heath had one of the best intercoolers going around then, an "are" unit. Im sure that helps with running lower boost, you have more air density.
I would be very interested in seeing the graphs the 276hp vehicle, if you want to share them that is.

Re: 1hz fuel pump - no revs
Put a clear line on the return line, if there are bubbles it is getting air in it. if not, fit another fuel source to the inlet of the pump, does it rev freely now? If not you have a pump problem or a lack of air in to or out of the engine.

The piston is still around somewhere, Ill have a look. You have to remember it was a n/a engine, looking for limits, I found them. Re: NEED HELP? TURBO ISSUES
Oil from the drain should be measured to see if its too much. A bush bearing turbo needs/requires more oil than a bb turbo. I think the answer lies in the type of turbo you have, a chinese unit. Buy an original brand, you wont go wrong, turbos should last 200k plus if looked after.

Its no secret, .74mm @ tdc is the correct spec. You could go to .8 but it may be noisy. Fuel is what gives you the power.
