What Springs For a lift on a TDI Disco
I've got a 96 Disco TDI with dual bat, and ARB steel bullbar at the moment i'm running king springs Heavey Duty (180lbs/ich i think) with koni shocks in the front. The springs are ment to give a 40mm lift over standard but i think it's more like 20mm. I would like a 3inch lift in the front but don't ...

How strong are Disco Rear Doors?
I have a bracket made by Kaymar that holds a hi lift jack to the spare wheel on the rear door of my 96 disco. I have heard that Defnders rear doors are a bit weak when it comes to weight on them is this the same with the disco? Will the door bend over really bumpy roads with the extra weight? Tobias.

I've been running a 3.9 with 3.5 manifold and injection (flapper AFM) gear for about a year now, the engine runs ok starts every time and doesn't give me any problems exept it uses lots of fuel and doesn't offer much performance. I have the 3.9 manifold injection gear including fuel rail Loom AFM ...

Viscous Coupling or Center Diff lock.
My brother's 92 ranige viscous coupling needs replacing is it worth while changing it to a center diff lock like my 88? He is planing on fitting F/R lockers soon and is wondering if the viscous is good enough off road.

Yep drove all the way home with the diff center still in. We thought about pulling the axles and removing the diff but the prado seems to have the axle and bearings in the same unit. the only thing we did was remove the drive shaft to try and lessen the strain all be it a little. Locked the center ...

235/85 r16 Vs 265/75 r16
Getting new set of rubber soon (currently running 31/10.5/15) i''m going to be using disco steel rims. Has anybody got any comments on which size to go for 235/85's or 265/75's? Does the extra width of the 265/75 offer any great advantage over the the slightly taller 235/85's? has anybody used both ...
