its probbly obvios but if u can its so mutch better to get a city/daly driver if ur gona keep the engine and drive chain. shortly after i got mine i had to replace the berings on 3 corners. witch was a nasty supryse after spending my cash on a 1.6. and on the subject of SPOA trypod rolld on a slope ...

there were a cuple of bronco's at the WA nightowle comp two years ago and all thay seemed to do was get bogged and dig 4 bloody big holes in the ground (but im a zook driver so im abit biass) ther was one used for recovery and that worked well.

iv had a quick look thrue there but still not sure how easy thay are to get hold of and wethere thay can pull a ton of trayla long distance (like doun to bunbry) there was one in the quaka awhile back for about $5000 wich is at the top of what red books quotes

iv draged a beached vl commodor wagon sidewase from the towball (my old mans car) after i backed it off a ledge. and that was a stock 1.3 siarra with balled road tyres. it only moved a few inches at a time but u can almost duble the suzis whait if u put 4 people in it

u can replace a 1.3 with a 1.6 without adaptors but u need to muckaround a bit, but its better than paing for a kit and it looks fearly stock

thanks lay80on ill do that as soon as i get a timing lite that dossent constantly shock me. and the carby cost $50 from a jap wreckres (becos i got the newist and shinyist one there) its off a KE70 Corrola but a veriety will also fit i needed 4 bolts becose the toy carb dossent have mounting bolts ...

the bore of the 1.3 and 1.6 look prity close (74mm and 75mm)and if u do the math eg 1.3/4 then divide by stroke then werek out what ur preperd to risk it dosent give u that much grater capacity. replacing my 1.3 with a 1.6 semmed to double the low doun power but i think my top speed was reduced a ...

it shuld handel angles like the siarra one but ill look for a nice slope or staircace this arfternoon and try it out. ive still got a slitly unstable idle when im running a air filter but i havent tuned it yet and dont know how to set the air fule mix (altho it is ajustible on this one)

the toyota carby fits easily and has larger prymary and secondery throtes.
