Re: Injected 1.6 into truggy

VSS is not needed, but it will cause the engine light to stay on (if you even hook it up). I never hooked the VSS up in my old zook and the engine ran fine, even at highway speeds.

Re: Air intake issues..

Does the engine run? are you just putting your hand over the intake trying to feel for suction? If the engine runs it's gotta be sucking air from somewhere

I know my old airbox didn't completely seal and there was a small hole in the bottom of it too.

Re: Baleno motor to Vit

The vitara inlet and exhaust manifolds should bolt straight on. As you said you'll need to swap the cam and dizzy from the vit motor too. I dont see why this wouldnt work, you're effectively only changing the block and not any of the sensors/wiring

I took my time sanding back my old set of rims then sprayed them with I think black killrust. Lasted well for 2 years until I sold the car. And only cost about $14 per rim

Had a "creative driving moment" yesterday resulting in a busted pinion gear in my maruti rear diff. Can these be sourced from anywhere? I know the odd ratio makes them rare as rocking horse S$%^. Alternatively, would something aftermarket fit? (Front and rear) http://locktup4x4.com.au/suzuki-89 ...

If its got the narrow plastic flairs its probably a NT. Another way to tell is to check the spring spacing. A NT will have the spring hangers mounted under the chassis rails, whereas a WT has the spring hangers mounted outboard.

Thats true, however a sierra still has good diff clearance on 32's. but ofcourse an extra inch cant hurt. the only times ive been stuck are when i got hung up on my diffs, and thats on 34's. I heard a sierra on 34's has approx the same diff clearance as a patrol on 36-37's. My sierra on 32's has ...

Simple answer - No

I suggest you do a good search on drop shackles though to see whether they are what you are after. There are plenty of discussions on the topic.

I bought a set of Hurricane brand extractors for just a little bit more than the ebay ones. Reason I didnt go for the ebay ones was they are not mandrel bent, so they neck down at the bends. So I figured if I was going to spend the money I'd get the better designed Hurricane ones. As for power. I ...

31zook, I reckon you should just find a set of normal muddies. Swampers are quite a heavy tyre and would probably need a very low pressure to get them to bag, plus they are friggen expensive and illegal to run onroad (not that you'd want to, dont handle the best from what i've heard ;) ). Save some ...
