Turn on the key, while distance to next service & spanner symbol are displayed (in 1st few seconds) depress the button until the distance numerals start to blink then release. Then with every press of the button the distance will start to increase, don't ...

I can reset the flashing spanner but can't change the km's from 1000 to something else.

Hmmm can't believe no one on here knows, wow that's a 1st. What about a web site others have had success with this kind of question maybe. Dealer says I have to bring it in & hook up to pc which will have a charge for doing so, I have heard this is incorrect. No surprise there. :roll:

Navara D40 service
Have a D40 Navara diesel & need to alter the service interval indicator, have worked out how to get rid of the service due now flashing spanner but can't alter the kilometer amount. Have searched through the topics but couldn't find an entry. Thanks in advance.

My 4500 fat GU is no rocket ship but is quicker in the sand at Robe than a GQ wagon fitted with GEN III that i dragged off, i think the owner was as surprised as i but it wasn't very quick.
