Have tried depressing the trip reset while turning on the ignition which resets it but turning it like the manual says doesn't alter km's, have tried a number of possible combo's but no cigar. :bad-words: :bad ...

The access to the bearing nut with auto hub removed isn't any better with the wheel removed. If you change to GU lock rings tighten the inner one to 40 lbs with tention wrench. (you will have to make yourself a tool with socket drive to fit wrench) I run 36" tyres & no bearing probs.

Easiest way to tell is remove allen key bolts that secure the auto hub unit take it off (make sure its in auto mode and not engaged) then repeat the movements. Nothing will spill out and wont hurt it. They can be odd units sometimes those hubs making funny noises for no reason. ;)

i still think new rings pistons brg's etc refit diesel to GQ will be cheaper, unless a complete gas system falls from a truck sooner rather than later.
might be cheaper to run this week but might take a lotta weeks to start getting any benifit :?

Me i would go get a reco short motor put it back togeather, with the fuel price going like it is your pocket would be better off staying with the diesel. A V8 petrol GQ would be pretty thirsty. :D
