In between guard and battery under a black metal cover are the fuse and relay for fuel pump.

Pump fuse and relay are next to the battery under the metal tray. If you clean all the dust and muck off you will see the label.

Lightforce 240 HID conversion
My 240's have served me well for 7+ years but I would like to upgrade them to HID. What kits are people putting in them? I'm after the most straight forward conversion of 75W and above.

I don't think you can accurately give fuel usage figures by using one of those gauges. Needs to be worked out when you fill up at the pump, but even then your odometer might be out like most vehicles.

Balance line on LPG
I have just replaced my ELKO 420 gas converter with an Aussie B2. The ELKO had a steel front plate with a fitting linked to the intake on the gas mixer (impco 200 pr therevabouts) with a solenoid (apparently it adjusted mixtures) that stopped working years ago. Can I just block these lines off now ...

Re: Full Hydro Setup
A friend of mine had a 75 on 37's with chromos which handled the tyre size quite well. Managed to destroy the steering box in a comp so there's always argument to upgrade parts if you're already replacing those components as it is. If it's in the budget then why not make it bulletproof?

Mine was fixed with a wheel balance where the guy actually spent 10-15 minutes on each tyre to get them right. He added over 100gm to an already "Balanced" tyre.

Re: Which globes for g/f Tiida while country driving?
The HID's seem to work very well in my GQ but if i can avoid them i will. We drove back through some country roads last night and the Tiida stock lights are pretty good for stock especially in normal situations but on the longer country roads they fall a bit short. Can you buy 75 or 85W H4's? I hate ...

Which globes for g/f Tiida while country driving?
As we are moving to the country in a few weeks the g/f will be doing a little more country night driving. The standard headlights on the Tiida are pretty crap so i'm looking for some upgraded globes for now. I went into Supercheap and they have Narve Plus 20,50,90,100 and 120 globes but they are all ...

I have been using the ctek successfully for a while now. I was initially concerned that the charger wouldn't go onto trickle/float charge mode with a parasitic draw on the system but all is good.

Ok but any 3 litre non CRD is going to have a fair amount of km on it already so if he is fitting NADS now after the magic 100,00km then it may still fail.

If you also jump on patrol4x4 you will see that patrols with NADS fitted still blow up!Jump onto patrol4x4.com and do a search on NADS. You WANT to monitor your EGT and boost levels.

How do they compare with a 4.2 patrol? You don't get many (gu 4.2) under 300,000km for that price.Or lift your budget mate to 35k and you can have my 04 gxl live axle turbo diesel cruiser that will be for sale from wednesday
