I'm going to say I see an argument to either side here. People need to make a step from hard to extreme at some stage, there will always be those at the top and lower end of capable. I personally fit into the three requirements mentioned bar a winch. I did seek assistance last night and I'm sure I ...

That was beaut. Wasn't bothered chasing points, just happy to tag along but that in itself proved challenging. had to crack out the old snatch a few times last night and also went home with a bruise on the rear of the cruiser and minus a tail light. Really hoping someone dumps a bunch of photo's up ...

Well it may be that the old MQ might have to sit this one out.

One reason only.

The great bank of Nevyn may not be able to finance fuel for the night.

Hey peoples Want to get the opinion on this, but take all into consideration. Really old crappa of a SWB MQ Patrol, therefore not really worth spending money on Lockas would be more than half the money I paid for it. Re: Logan May Night Tag Along Run (DATE CHANGED)

Rating: Hard Does that mean I shouldn't bother?? I have no Mods to help me out and I'm still a bit of a baby on the 4wd scene. More than happy to give anything a crack and I do have hooks at each end, just don't want to turn tag along into drag along. Be a pain in the proverbial for everyone else ...

Sorted. Hey thanks for the good ideas, both of those end options would have worked well. But the end result was easier. Went into the wreckers today, found a factory one. Three bolts (even though it was a bit stuck fast by the re-arranged bumper) $5 at the counter (didn't even bother trying to ...

Mine was a GQ and I was able to mount it and the bullbar to the chassis using the factory bolt holes. "was" being the operative word ??? meaning you can't send me any photo's?? Get a factory chassis mounted hook from a wrecker. Mine had been removed to fit the bullbar. $20 from Halls. I would much prefer to keep my Bullbar, I think that's half the prob. is there any hooks etc that the hook itself sits above/below where it bolts on?? http://i47.photobucket.com/albums/f172 ...

How hard can it be?? As some of you know I need a recov point on the front end of the Patrol. have been to a couple of different places. First was ARB, the guys said $100 bucks including the hook. I said great but I can't do it right this moment, I will organise it soon. Two weeks later I ring back ...

optimise your shackle length to suit the length of your springs, pull a couple of leafs out the pack, open up the retaining clamps on the spring packs, make sure you've got flogged out rubber bushings in there not poly, and make sure your shocks aren't limiting travel. remove the bumpstops and trim ...

You don't necessarily have to spend big $$$ if you have skills to do some/all of the work yourself and of course time. I trandformed the suspension on my leaf sprund 4x4 from under 6" of wheel travel per axle to about 15", and it cost under $500 for everything all up (would have only been $200 if ...
