need help removing lifters - 3F 60

Post by borisr33 »

Hey guys,

Got a mate who is rebuilding his head and can’t seem to get the mechanical lifters out!
Doesn’t seem to be anything to grab then with! There is only the divot that the rod sits in. Even turning the cam shaft doest bring them high enough to get anything to wedge them out.

Any suggestions would be appreciated - have also included pic.

Thanks in advance!!!

Any decent tool shop will sell them in telescopic and flexible configuration.
