i went for a 4by run yesty and turned my tail shaft into a cork screw, so does any 1 know of a good place to go to, to have a new one made up?
79 series cruiser, 6" susp., 3' body lift, rear coil conversion, 35" baja claws... fully engineered and lockers on the way

nar, dont want to just throw a standard one back in, i wanna fix the problem, so upgrade time :snipersmile: probably get the ends chooped off and have a stronger center put back in it, but then it will need to be ballanced and all that so just wondering if any one knows a good tail shaft maker that can be recomended. in in the mid north coast but distance doesnt really bother me as it'l brob have to be sent away any way

After breaking three sliding splines provided by a different tailshaft mob, Driveline Services Rebuilt mine. They used a std rear uni joint, a light truck sliding spline and front uni with a custom machined front plate to mount to the transfer case.

So far so good....

Hardy Spicer do everything from std shafts to shafts for heavy mining.
91' Hilux Surf with the usual mods & a few different ones ....
