Auto conversion

Does anybody know if the 4.8 litre 5 speed auto will bolt in behind the TD42T in an early GU and if much work is involved.

Or has anybody fitted other auto's behind the TD42T other than a GQ 4 speed auto.

have you considered just trimming out wheel arches/guards and fitting 35 inch tyre's followed by lockers, front an rear (or just one locker).

I current run similar setup to you just with a front lockrite locker and I am driving over up or though plenty of obstacles.

I have recently used the loctite fuel tank and radiator repair kit, it works pretty well as a temp fix, it got me home again. But I wouldn't want to rely on it long term. Pulled tank out since and had it welded up again. But that said I punchered my commodore tank years ago, before I could afford a ...

I had a 1990 GXL diesel WITH NO TURBO, sitting up on 2 inch springs, 2 inch blocks an 32 inch tyres (hadn't got 35's yet). front & rear bars, rear draw system and coms gear. didn't even have a winch or lockers. Was lucky enough to ...

the glow plug module has it own temp sender in the motor (i think its in the lower termistat housing) test it with a multimeter as it may be faulty. some glow plug modules break down internally and just have to be thrown away.
