Automatic in a 75 series

I have a friend who has arthritis and is having trouble driving his emaculate 75 series,he wants to keep the car and wants to know if there is any one who has done a auto conversion on one and if so what they used,is it a big hastle.

Whats the best possible oil i can run in my factory turbo 80 series for a longer big end bearing life . Its blown up once ,i would rather it didnt happen again. :x

Ive just returned from 1800 sand kilometeres on maxxis mudzillas where i towed out car after car with road tyres ,i wasnt stuck once ,it would bog down to the belly but still keep moving foreward

Ive just bought a 80 series and dont know where to put my UHF radio,Is there a mounting bracket you can buy to put it under the cd player or do most people mount them under the dash :armsup: or are there any other good spots

well liftig the back of your bonnet or putting on a bonnet scoop is going to let water in as well ,taking the seal off is a quick easy free way to see if less heat fixes your problem,the water wont bother it :armsup:

If your model has the rubber seal on the underside back of your bonnet or on the top of the firewall just remove that , it makes a big difference :idea:

Dont worry your not the only one . I was in my car stuck ,someone else got my strap out hooked it up and didnt check it .I tried everything but couldnt get the knot out so i bought a new one and just keep it for emergencys

Its a common problem ,the 5th gear is narrow and when there worn they jump out.You can buy a wider aftermarket gear that fixes the problem but there is no easy fix it all still has to come apart.Call George at greenaways gearboxes and he will be able to explain it all properly.0266509300 or 1800 00 ...
