need quick reply on 94 Jackaroo

My mate is looking at buying a 94 3.1td Jack, I just want to know what to look for on it if anything that is common and if you think it still would have life in it at 290000km's.

Thanks in advance

Ive had both, an 80, 4l petrol auto which I loved, had a 2" susp lift and 33's and it went everywhere I wanted to go but it got written off so I bought the landy.

The 80 series are heavy and awkward in tight areas and I did find visability a problem, the mrs took a flare off on a gate and I nearly ...

As far as space goes, unless you have 5 kids you don't need to be dragging the rest of the bus around when you go shopping, think of your wife parking it.
Buy an XJ and a shit hot camper trailer to put the rest of your luggage and crap in and your set.

Feathering is another problem all together and is normally caused by bad shocks or shocks that are valved or set wrongly.

Feathering is the result of the tyre bouncing and not having full contact with the road all the time.

It can also be caused by out of balance tyres or worn ball joints, swivels ...

Call Les Richmond Automotive and get some flares to cover up where you have cut the guards and the doors, add a bit of pinch weld on the rough edges and while on the phone to LRA order a 50mm body lift, as they are engineered and come with everything you need.

Then you will have no more rubbing...

It's best for use under ground where it doesnt get disturbed.
