NSW car licence is up to 4.5 tonne and 12 or less seats. The only advantage to registering it as a bus i can think of is being able to park in bus parking areas and loading zones, and using bus lanes (which is great in sydney) In NSW a bus is any vehicle with 8 or more seats. I don't know about a ...

Re: V8 100 series Fuel Consumption??
Most people I've spoke to are getting 14 - 16l, 20l when towing a 30' boat. I don't need to own a v8 100 to know that is crap. they might get 20l towing the 30 footer to the ramp 2 kays away on the odd weekend. going on past threads, 14-16 sounds like unlaiden economy on the highway, and 20l is ...

www.installdr.com/Harnesses/Toyota-Wiring.pdf hope that works basically there are only two types of plugs in toyotas since the late 80's, and the wiring is basically the same. the main difference is some have physically smaller plugs. for what it's worth (10 bucks or so) you can get an adapter from ...

Re: 80's
Where can i get me some of those 80 series for 7 to 8k ????? They're not everywhere, but I have seen a 4.5 petrol 80 for 6 grand. bit muddy from use no doubt. that was a private sale here in newey. Also seen a pov pack diesel at a car yard for 8 grand. Someone on this board from newy i think also ...

I don't think the demand is that great these days for them. 80 series petrol and base model diesels can be had for 7-8k. Frankly i wouldn't pay more than 4-5k for it. Having said that some sucker might come along and pay 10 grand for it if you make it look pretty. Depends largely on the condition ...

Somone has asked what oil you are running. This may help your problem, as far as I can tell it is pretty vague to what the problem actually is. So what oil do you have in it? THere is a recent thread about 80 series oils. Early boxes (and a 3f is early) have shifting problems. and using a castrol ...

Re: 60 or 80 series for touring?
Would you guys buy a 60 series turbo diesel auto for towing a van and long distance touring? Or is a 80 series with coils a heaps better truck, than a leaf sprung 60? I'm thinking a cheap 60 with some money spent on good suspension and offroad gear might be a better option than a overpriced 80 ...

if it happened suddenly it's probably not the plugs, but the timer/relay/fuse or a wire somewhere. I think the timer and relay are one unit. if the plugs are original they could probably do with replacing anyway edit - It may also be at the back of the motor on no.6 plug. there is a metal bridge ...

around 500 seems to be the go at most places. Does that alignment include king pin shims? because that involves a special tool. smack the starter with a lump of wood or a hammer if that gets it going, the starter is rooted. otherwise check the wire running from the battery to the starter is secure, and there is no water/mud/other shit stuck in the little rubber cap on the starter end (that could be shorting to the starter ...

It's a common thing happening over there these days because the cummins engines are cheap and plenty, as are parts. toyota diesel motors alone are rare as, let alone parts. I've also seen it done on a 60 series. the 4 inch lift (spring over on the 60) is necessary just to clear the sump, as they're ...

There's also the factory at rutherford, but both of these places aren ...
