oil pressure on MQ's

my oil pressure on my MQ drops a bit at idle then once you are moving it sits just above the 3 mark when you are idleing i sits bout 3 ml below the 3 mark. i'v changed the oil and made no diffrence. it use to sit just above the 3 mark at idle. has any one hade oil pressure problems with MQ's i think ...

Thats what I was told when i rang up an asked about it, that it could be just cleaning the old stuff out.
but its hade to see how i would have to put 4 to 5L in if its just cleaning the engine.
and now its starting to blow smoke which it did'nt do befor the oil change?

i dont know what sort of oil was in it. it was in there when i brought it.

i think the old stuff was in there for quite a while. so i guess it was pritty thick.

MQ useing oil?

I'v just changed my oil to penrite light truck oil, 3000km ago it was not useing oil befor then and it has started to use quite alot of oil i have put about 2 to 3 litres in. since. dose any one have any ideas of y this is happening? Its a MQ SD33 81 modle hade a complete rebuild about 30 to 40 ...

The MQ ute rolled on old man emu way at 2am saterday morning rolled 8 times down the hill they got it out at 4pm saterday after 5 hours of recovering it.

the same thing happend to mine, i took it right of and rewelded it and then strenghend the rest of them by welding 5mm plate on to them, havent hade any problems since.
