I just want to know, if in all the placings that are put on the Internet and on emails, I (will mccarty) came equal third, but am written/placed above the other team who equaled me, but they got the prize and not us. Why is that?

but in a lifted car the diff is alot lower than the output of the gearbox, so if both angles were level, the tailshaft would be on a steep angle which isnt good. Wouldnt it be better to aim the pinion up towards the gearbox output?

yeh mate its worht it since its easy as, and if u get water in the diff its not good. All you gotta do is get some small rubber tube, connect it to the the fitting on the diffs and run in up to the engine bay, and put a tiny filter on the end

well the reason why i wanted to compete was because it had the fast creek runs and open paddock stages where u could open it up a bit. Which the victorian based winch challenges dont offer. that thing looks pretty water tight to me! Also it has a drain plug, but its on the top side of the outlet pipe. And yeh it looks like 4'' inlet and outlets.

is there any way to calculate your top speed somewhere on the net? It should be able to be calculated if you put into account ur tyre size, diff ratio, gearbox and or motor size?

also its sitting higher at the back as its sitting on another ''crossmember'' thats was there when i got it, which i need to cut out, but still sitting back about 3 inches from the transmission mount
