Re: 300 Tdi 3" exhaust

A 3" pipe on a Tdi needs a muffler, don't let anyone tell you otherwise.

I built my own 3" system about 7 or 8 years ago, and didn't bother with a muffler as everyone said "it's a turbo, turbo's don't need mufflers..."

Bollocks.

I kid you not, SWMBO could hear me down-changing 6km from home, it ...

Another tall driver that fits OK (into a crew cab)

I'm a touch under 6'2" and all legs. The seat has been raised 22mm and the seating position is excellent for me, much more comfortable on a trip than our GU Patrol.

In the Patrol I have knee and back problems if driving for an hour or more, none ...

And Jim, you now get good brakes as well. :)

?? Not compared to 'fender brakes ?

(although the extra width of the GU brakes is nice to stav off fade)

Jumping from the GU to the Defender and back I prefer the pedal of the 'fender, and they both pull up just as well as each other in an emergency ...

I'm guessing Rovacraft or karcraft, at least phone and try. Karcraft are a Bearmach agent, Bearmach supply spacers.

Otherwise you could knock the old studs out and use some socket head capscrews lightly tacked into the back of the hub.
I used to get this done on race cars when i wanted to run ...

Even 16/17 psi would be OK, beyond that the head gasket will more than likely let go in the long term, or at least that's the ...
