235's are already (about) 10% out on the speedo - bigger tyres will make it worse.

yeah, the plan is to spend the dosh on gears now (as 31's will be very soon - nearly convinced a mate from work to gimme his!)

hahaha - the tyre cover is cheaper too...

highlifts can be used for other things aswell, but i think i will just get a bottle jack and stow it away in the car someplace.

my stock jack is hopelessly inadequate and i was looking at a high-lift jack.
the body doesnt look like it would enjoy being jacked, and looking at the tongue of the high lift you wont get it under the chassis rail anywhere .
i have seen heaps of sierra's with the high-lift attached to the back/on ...

i especially like the way you lined it all with rubber around the edges of the checker plate - that will be a tip i will use next time.

To stop my table 'rattling' i put small pieces of sticky-backed rubber at the corners ...

Can I put a suggestion forward... I've had chequer plate panels in cars before and they make it bloody cold (well colder than normal). Marine ply is HEAPS cheaper than ali chequer plate, the money saved by buying some 6mm ply would cover a cheap ...

yeah - it looks longer than the one i have hanging in my shed gathering dust...

lasted all of 5 minutes (after i got the zook lic) before i removed it and stuck it on the wall - and that is where it has stayed ever since!

i have 2" BL, 2" shackles and have 3" springs on the way (from the US) - currently have original (flat) springs, and 30" tyres.

Been 'getting there' for the last 9 months, do bit-by-bit as i find out more about my zook, but i should be able to fit a 33 x 10.5 tyre under there easily when the ...

mine has the same rattle as above - drives perfectly tho, and will run it til it dies...

excellent thread - used this for my BL.

Only thing to add was i had to remove my gearstick boots (orignals are hard rubber), and replace with custom ones (vinyl), as my gearsticks would hit the boot and not select 2nd or 4th gear or L4.

Also, i have some 'bumper extensions' that are perfect for ...

yeah, i am going to keep the PVC - to - airbox (everything under the bonnet) when i go to steel... it just works, and i can hardly see it getting damaged under there!
