chpd80 did you have boots on the shocks? and did you bother to take them back when they played up. Yep had boots on the shocks and were in good condition, No I didn't bother persuing any warranty on them as SO many people were having the same probs as I had so I just put it down to experience, but ...

1HZ with factory 1HDT CT26 turbo fitted with top-mount WRX Intercooler. I can get my pyrometer to 550 deg. no prob by accelerating hard onto the highway and all the time the factory temp gauge will NEVER move. Not sure about the engine but I know for sure in Vic. you cannot just get a certificate for the engine mod. The engineer has to give a certificate for the WHOLE vehicle. So if its lifted, diff wheels, bullbar, lights, gauges, seats etc etc etc they have to do the whole thing along with the engine mo...

Had tough dogs in my cruiser for less than 12 months, and wouldnt touch them again if someone gave them to me. They worked great when they were brand new but faded real fast and ended up with their hardest setting being same as their softest setting. Had lots of people say the same after trying them...

I've turboed my 1HZ with a toyota CT26 turbo off a 1HDT motor, I'm not sure of the compressor wheel size etc, but it spools up nice and early and doesnt seem to run out of legs with high revs. I'm only running 10 pounds boost for the sake of longevity. Some turbo fitters wont fit turbo's to non fact...

I was just worried about the sudden locking tourque thats all. I know you didnt want to be told how they work, but you need to know that they are ALWAYS locked until one wheel tries to go faster than the other (like on a roundabout) then they will UNLOCK not lock. The clicking noise you can hear is...

Gidday Glen, Sorry to hear your winch still not going  Don't really know were to get that bush your talking about? I thought the shaft would have been the same for warn motors. (ya learn something new everyday) :D You'll probably pay around $500 for a 6hp motor plus the adapter shaft. I bought ...

I've got 1HZ Turbo Intercooler, and I now drive diferently after fitting a pyrometer (in dump pipe). Example; Hills that you had to drop down to 4th or 3rd to get up before you turboed you will find that with the turbo you can stay in 5th and power up the hill. This is where the pyro changes how you...

So Darren, have you definately decided against Toyota's V Nissan.? Theres plenty of toyota's around that I'm sure would love to have a chance to compete and help this catagory take off! Would be a shame to see such a good concept be limited to one brand. Their has always been great rivalry between T...

How good would it be for spectators (and the industry for that matter) to see well built capable trucks competing, knowing that they can definately afford to build and race something like what their looking at? Man great idea. Dont get too stressed with getting the formula perfect from the start, like V8 supercars you can bring in changes to rules as they become problems. Kinda be a shame to limit it to GQ's only, at least allow a GQ/80 series comp. Cruisers will always be outnumbered by GQ's thats just th...
