100 series 4.5 petrol Auto, 33's,bullbar,winch,etc = heavy / aerodynamics of a brick.

Just converted to gas 500 km ago, so far figures are

Petrol - 20lt per 100kms = $34.00
Gas - 25lt per 100kms = $14.50
Both Highway figures. Wont take me long to pay off the $925 for the gas conversion. Thanks ...

Should have gone an EFS kit as I have heard really good after sales service if anything goes wrong, and I reckon they would have replaced it had one of their leaves broken. (that is if it wasnt efs and I'm not talkin through my ASS) :D

Try Umahaurs ARB in Geelong Vic. They make them for GQ/GU and may make them for Toyatoa as well? Worth a try.

didn't bother persuing any warranty on them as SO many people
were having the same probs as I had so I just put it down to

1HZ with factory 1HDT CT26 turbo fitted with top-mount WRX
Intercooler. I can get my pyrometer to 550 deg. no prob by
accelerating hard onto the highway and all the time the factory
temp gauge will NEVER move. (its only gone up once after I

Not sure about the engine but I know for sure in Vic. you cannot
just get a certificate for the engine mod. The engineer has to give
a certificate for the WHOLE vehicle. So if its lifted, diff wheels,
bullbar, lights, gauges, seats etc etc etc they have to do the
whole thing along with the engine ...

Had tough dogs in my cruiser for less than 12 months, and wouldnt
touch them again if someone gave them to me.
They worked great when they were brand new but faded real fast and ended up with their hardest setting being same as their softest setting.
Had lots of people say the same after trying ...

I've turboed my 1HZ with a toyota CT26 turbo off a 1HDT motor,
I'm not sure of the compressor wheel size etc, but it spools up
nice and early and doesnt seem to run out of legs with high revs.

I'm only running 10 pounds boost for the sake of longevity.

Some turbo fitters wont fit turbo's to non ...

I was just worried about the sudden locking tourque thats all.
I know you didnt want to be told how they work, but you need to know that they are ALWAYS locked until one wheel tries to go faster than the other (like on a roundabout) then they will UNLOCK not lock.

I've got 1HZ Turbo Intercooler, and I now drive diferently after fitting a pyrometer (in dump pipe).
Example;
Hills that you had to drop down to 4th or 3rd to get up before you turboed you will find that with the turbo you can stay in 5th and power up the hill.

Was planning on hammer and brass punch, but am having trouble
getting the inside cap off before punching out the shaft :x
