My mate receintly spent money on his td42ti.
Air to water cooler
Intake manifold
injector pump (unsure of plunger size)
new garrett turbo
4" Stainless exhaust

He didn't get alot of change from twelve grand.

Holy wowzers 565 degrees post turbo? Anyone has it a guess at the preturbo temps? 700 degrees?

I don't know a great deal about diesels, other then how to remove them, and even less about the zd30, but i would have thought that would have been right up there for what i'm assuming is esentually a ...

Everyone does different things with their cars, perhaps you should let us know what kind of 4wding your doing? Where your planning on going with it? Is it your daily driver?

Fix whatever issues it sounds like your auto has, then stage 1 valve body fron wholesale autos.
Extractors and exhaust
then either convert to fuel injection or upgrade carb.

Or, convert it to a BBQ (LPG) and then turbo it, not sure you'd get much (if any) out of this option though.

I'd say 0.63 would be too small, I'd be looking for something that's more 1.06 or there abouts, that's just me though.
Your adding a turbo...don't kid yourself, forget about fuel economy

granted the tb42 rods are stronger, but the tb45's aren't match sticks either.

Do you have bodylift? if so how much and by how much did the bonnet clear the cooler?

Fabbing mounts etc is of no real concern, its what I do. It's the finer details that concern me such as wiring it all up, why the need to move everything forward, is this done with a spacer between the engine & box or is the whole lot moved meaning new drive shafts, crossmembers etc.

Not that this has much to do with what your talking about, but the 8-valve had hypereutectic pistons (what the Honda D16 use in turbo projects) as far as i know. Does the 16-valve?

I'm pretty sure you need a min of 3 cylinders to power a turbo properly, something about exhaust gas pulses

yeah there is alot of problems with adding power to a zook. although the total increase with weber + the turbo and exaust wouldnt be more than say. 50%, so you think this power increase will open pandoras box on my driveshaft?

what kind of weber are you going to be using, and where did you get ...

no too big for the suzuki's 1.3

maybe if you had an efi 1.6 and the turbo was off a series 2 r33 (i think they were the ones with the ceramic turbine wheel) because they spool up pretty quick. But other than that

2004 GU approx 230ish rwhp, 40" all terrains inflated to 15psi on 17x10" rims with staun internal beadlocks, factory manual locking hubs. Cal Offroad CV strengthened cv's hold up well, don't have to back off when jumping the car now.
The strengthened GQ CV's are apparently stronger, lifetime ...

the 5 speed that the vg30 comes with is pretty darn strong get one of those into it.
