Engineering on the other hand, should be proper engineering, with calcs, manufacturer loadings, material compositions, etc that can demonstrate an alteration is acceptable. That is being safe, not some BS rule made up by a failed engineer working for the Govt coz he cant make it in the real world ...

I didn't think it was flamable either. I always thought nos shrank fuel so you could squeeze more fuel into the cylinders to get a bigger bang.

Had the same problem with mine only reading ambient temp. Try removing the batteries from both units, turn the receiver on first and then the sender. Should work, the sender transmits every 3 mins, if it doesn't work then take it back.

Try Blackburn 4x4 or Ebay seller matts0510, They sell genuine Nissan gear at very good prices.
I have bought a Genuine fan clutch from them for around $120 not too sure as I've bought a bit of stuff there, Give them a try.

Where was all this talk before the event was cancelled for the year. There was no hint of anyone else building up cars for this event besides us, Fester and Piglet. I converted some old 240 Blitz with a 55w 6000k kit, Awesome. Next time, I would use a set off XGT's as the HID kits are all internal, where as mine have external ballasts with wires to run as well as modifiying the lamp holders as well. I would also use a 5000k globe next time as Moph said.

Have a look on your compliance plate, it should read,
AXLE HG41 meaning 4.1:1
HG43- 4.3:1, etc
My old mans is the same set up and it's 4.1:1
