Re: second alternator / cape trip

Hi Mate, it sounds like your most concerned about the draw on your batteries when your parked up?? IF this is the case then having a second Alternator bolted up under the bonnet wont offer you much of a solution on the 3rd day of parking when the battery system is getting low. Your problem sounds mo...

hi mate, you will probably find that that is the diff breather hose??? it should be connected to the top of the pumpkin and you may find that you got the steel tubes mixed up. Both the diffs and the gear box have a breather that goes to the chassis and then to a steel tube to a high point (sorry can...

Hi Mate, this has happened to me also. Bloody savage really.!! When i did my original body lift i used 50mm high by 50mm diameter steel blocks. if its only leaking a bit of oil just replace the axel seals (inside the diff housing) that will stop the oil leak. if your getting water in the hub then replace the rest of it. good luck with it But to get to the axle seals you need to pull everything else off so you might as well replace it all w...

Hi mate, there is no point installing an IC onto a non Turboed engine.. The idea of the IC is to cool the air that the Turbo is pumping under pressure into the engine. The Turbo functions directly from the Exhaust gas and therefore heats the air that it pumps back into the engine. Without the turbo ...
