soo ive rang around trying to get rhs recommended above. but all i can get is that is close to it is 40x40x4 and 50x50x5 or 4.
what size woukld be best or what size have you guys used??

hey guys. the slip spline on my front driveshaft is flogged out an looks to break soon. ive rang around and have gotten quotes from several places and are all around $200 just to weld in a new slip spline and re balance the shaft. my question is what are my other options? as i dont have a spare $200...

ill have a chat the the blokes at the tire shop and see what they recommend, either to run tubes to be safe or to just try a sealant on the bead.

i bought them off rims and only just realised the damage.
funny you say that because i only live around the corner in mayfield

they are 37x12.5 mtr's on 15x8 rims if this helps

soo ive bought a set of second hand mtr's and it looks like the bead has been damaged when they have been removed from the old rims. its only on one spot on each tyre which makes me think thats how it has been damaged. my question is will this damage affect the seating of the tire on the rim causein...

the centre diff locating pin is further back in the newer model rear springs.
you could use older model ifs rear springs which dont put your diff as far back or use a tailshaft spacer.

yep sounds like the seal in the master cylinbder is bypassing. would cause the pedal to go to the ground without losing fluid.it will be bypassing from the high pressure side around the seal back to the low pressure side (resevoir) therefore causing no loss in fluid.

how bad is the turbo. and what type is it.
is it off the dts kit?

fuel lines around the wrong way on filter. stupid mistake on my behalf. although i have been working on it for 5 months missing one thing isnt too bad. took it for its first spin this mornin runs like a charm

ide like to rebuild mine but the shaft has huge amounts of play i wouldnt mind betting that the housings have been damaged, the turbo guy i took it to said dont bother rebuilding it probably too far gone for that. at the moment it still looks like i gotta keep saving for a newie
