U shouldn't have any problems getting that motor enginered with it being a 96 model going into an 88:?
If it was a carby model 5lt then you'd have to run straight gas.
maybe try another engineer

my 2 choices would either be the esab or wia maybe a bigger size maybe like a 240amp?
i would also recomend gettin the tweco interchangable torch mainly because of the readilly available parts and the cheaper price's........
At work we have around 30 welders most off them are cigweld 330's or 500 ...

i did mine in 2weeks just a couple of hours a day after work.......it's not that hard as long as youve got half an idea
not every one likes what ive done but it does the trick.
and if you do it keep it as low as you can and not go stupid like me (i should listen to my own advice hey )

not sure but i think they all come with lsd
i know u cant run the rear limo up front either
not sure but i think they run a navara, or pathfinder up front but dont quote me on this

depends on the year model aswell
a complete power steering setup from a wreckers can be pricy aswell, i have been quoted $1000 - $1500 for a full setup (me install)
youve just got to be in the right place at the right time :wink:
i sold a complete set up for $150 the bloke couldnt get the ...

im using a pair of suzuki gti buckets in mine........ they hold pretty good and there a lot more comfier then the stock 4runner one's(not bad for deigo ricer seats)
id go for a ricer set u can pick a good set up for around $200

IMO i wouldnt waste my money on one of these kits.......... i'd put the money into doing a solid front swap which could be done for the same amount of dollars :wink:
i looked into doing this with mine but it gives you no advantages really other then letting you run 35's.............still fark ...

went to the bike show in sydney on sunday and was wondering why it was bouncin all over the joint worse then it usally does so i pulled over and had a look and found a rear shock just hangin there................ id lost the bolt that holds it ...

I went the full booty fab when i did mine
double flipped arm with a 60 series tie rod going in through the top
All i did was drill the taper out about half way then taper the top a little
put the tie rod in and then press the farker out of it......... hasnt worked loose at all in 20,000ks ...

just went and had a look at mine dunno wheather this is any good but my ones with the weight on them stand at 450 3inch soft............ ill see later i might get the high lift out and measure the free length

22r......... p!ss easy to take out 1 hour and it should be out
did my rear main bout 12 months ago(and another clutch) pretty easy from what i remember pull the clutch flywheel and sump off, pull the rear main seal housing off , knock the old seal out and put the new one in and put it all back ...

what motor u got
if ya gunna do the rear main u might as well pull the motor.........easier to line back up i reckon and i dunno how your rear main set up is but you may need to drop the sump and there a bit of a s!ut to get off usally(to much sh!t in the way)
just my opinion easier motor out ...

did i tell you about when i did mine
i welded my rear up and it was farked all it wanted to do was corkscrew and travel instead of skipping the tyres !
it was in for about 20mins then came straight back out it was so undriveable...........................did a u turn on the road nice and slow ...

i think the thing your after is behind the glove box and up to the left mounted on the pillar :wink:
when i changed my harness in mine the heater didnt work at all.......... and we figured out there was a relay missing out of the harness
so if ya pull the glove box out and have a look up in ...

mate cv joint seal kits complete kits at 69 dollars a side at burson at the moment and 28 dollars a side for wheel bearing till 15th of march getting some in a couple of weeks. they got a sale of landcruiser parts at the moment.
been getting swivle hub kits for about $95 (both sides)
and wheel ...

it says on paper 35x12.5x15 on 8 inch rim........... but if i get a coppa that really nos what there talking about then im stuffed ............but when does tha happen

im thought you did if it was a larger then
standart tyre size
it doesnt mater any way it costs no more to get them done when he's checkin the rest of the sh!t :wink: ............. it helps keep the piggies off my back as well

ive got 35x12.5s engineered on 8s no worrys :wink:
i got pulled over again the other day by the cops and they said my tyres wernt legal................... then looked at me papers then said no worrys see ya later

from what i found i thought they were around 8.1 comp
it'll be cheaper for me to turbo then super charge
got the turbo allready 5000ks from brand new,make all manifolds myself,then just oil lines and a webber
i dont really care if it shits itself anyway gunna put a como v6 sooner or later

yeah i seen that but diffrent motors..........mines carby and i dunno wheather ill do a blow through or suck through set up with a side draft webber or some thing along those lines :wink:
