Re: Mounting poly bushings...
Lubing them up with a general grease should be ok. I know some greases attack the poly but not sure what types. If they are super tight, make sure they are right for your car. A guy at work has had problems with ford f-100 aftermarket poly bushes, we had to machine them to fit! Otherwise a long bol...

There's a support from the turbo outlet to the engine block. When remounting the manifold in the car, you should loosen this support from the turbo outlet until you have tightened the manifold nuts. If you don't do this, you risk that the support bottoms before the manifold is tightly mounted to the...

Anyone know the answers to any of the following questions? Can't find them in my rep manual... What is the impress or backspacing of the original steel rims following the patrol 160 around -86? What is the track width of that car? How much alternation of the impress/backspacing will nissan allow on ...

American magazine Fourwheeler or Petersens 4wheel And Offroad (Can't remember which one)had an article on this some time ago. They had a 24-Volt battery setup in addition to the car's original 12-Volt, and a special voltage converter/charger combo charging the 24-Volt setup. Downside is that when yo...

I've been adjusting the valves on my 3.3 over and over again, but still there seems to be one or two valves that are ticking. My workshop manual states that the valves should be adjusted with the crank in upper dead center, and lists the valves that should be adjusted in one position and the valves ...

The origianal sd33t has a boost compensator that is said to follow pressure up to about 12,8 PSI. Look at the rear of your intake manifold, there should be a thin tube running from there around the back of the engine and into the diesel injection pump. I'm running 10.7 PSI on mine whitout adjusting ...

Why not just tap 12v between the cells/batterys? No need for a regulator. /Magnus Because this will cause the batteries to charge unequally, thus eventually lead to destruction of one of them cuased by overloading. I have learned that a winch or a real big consumer will be a problem. But i migth be...

I still recon you mean the steering wheel centerboss - it has 36 splines.
Mine has relays for each circuit, providing 12 volt to all connections to the trailer. 12 volt taken from converter. If the chassis of the converter is grounded, then ground the uhf to normal ground (cab/chassis) try it out with a test lamp first. As for the steering coloumn - if no one has the answ...
