I had to temp. take my battery cradle to fit in, but bolted straight in after that! The problem I had was the connection to the snokel. I turned down a piece of 3.5" S/S steam pipe to 3.25" so it slide straight into filter with silcone. Than I just hose clamped a straight 3.25" silcone hose ...

I have 2 mates that own GU's.The 2.8 seem the same size with different piping arrangments, but the late model 4.2IC has no fan, where the 2.8 does! I'm at the monent in the middle of making my own manifold to run a HT18s 2s Twin scroll RX7 Turbo with a top mounted WRX intercooler on my TD4.2. I'm ...

So let me get this straight! You're allowed a 2" spring & 2" body lift at the same time, but you can't have a straight 4" lift in Queensland even if it's engineered. I thought engineers overuled the RTA or DOT to a certain point, otherwise what's the point in having them! Are there any engineers on ...

I made my own up using 63x45 hollow bar. They're 46mm wide. I made the bores to be between 49.92 to 49.95mm. As the the bushes are 50mm or a bit over. You want them tight so they don't move side ways in the bore when their on you're 4by, Happy Machineing!!

Kiwi, The one I used and it's been worken ever since, was just an old valve off a dizzy that I got at the wreckers for $2. It will never work as fast as an ARB one because it only has four prongs that it can engage with on the other half, If that makes sense! :)

If you had a loose belt for a while, yes the belt would be worn! But I would also look at the condition of your pully grooves, they also wear especially with a loose belt skidding around!

Roga, Does your engine sound like it's making a lot of excess fan noise under the hood? Thats what mine sounded like, because the fan was spinning at the same rpm's as the engine. The vicious oil in the fan should heat up after a very short period allowing the fan to spin slower and engine to rev ...
