Got 33x12.5 MTZs on my 2" spring lift GQ and have only had a handful of scrapes. I've still got swaybars but have removed the standard mudguards.

Simex on Current Hilux

OK posting for a mate. He has a new extra-cab hilux with 2" OME spring lift and steel ARB winchbar. Currently running 265? Coopers onroad. Will 32x9.5x16 ETs fit comfortably after removing the mud guards? Looks like a tight fit at the rear of the guard and also at the front with the bar's lower bash ...

Legality of Body Lifts & Tyres

I see a lot of 4bs gettin around with 33'+ rubber and body lifts. From what I understand most of these mods are illegal unless you have an engineers certificate. Understandably you can cop a canary and fine no big deal, but how do people go with insurance? Do companies pay up if you stack 35 ...

34x11.5 on a SWB GQ

What are the chances of fitting 34x11.5 tyres on a SWB GQ.
Got 2 inch spring lift.
Is a guard cut or body lift deffinately needed, or can I get away with it with minimal rubbing.
From what I hear large tyres seem to rub even with large lifts?

GQ Streeing Wheel Wobble

Ive got a GQ swb with a 2 inch lift and 31ATs. Since the lift only expierienced the wobble rarely when braking at speed down a hill. It was very minor and would dissappear in a couple of seconds. Suddenly its a lot worse, not loosing control but a lot more violent and lasts for a lot longer. Havn't ...

The problem with 33x10.5-12 is that it limits my tyre options. From what I can see the majority of 33 tyres are are 12.5 although Im told BFMuddies can be 33x10.5.

Bigger rubber on SWB GQ

Interested in fitting bigger tyres to my shorty currently running 31x10.5. I have a 3ish inch suspension lift with no body lift. How will 33x12.5s go, much rubbing with standard guards? Ive been told 33x10.5 would be the go but would like wider! How about 35s, no chance without cutting or body ...

Reversing light mounted to GQ wheel spare holder.

I want to fit an extra light to the spare holder. I have figured out all the mounting details except for where to rout the wires from the vehicle to the light. I would like to stick well clear of cutting & drilling. Is there a simple way to rout the wire from the car through the door and out on to ...
