I was thinking about disconnecting the steering coupling and knocking the casting off the shaft splines then repositioning the casting on the splines when the steering wheel is back to centre.
Anyone done this?

Removing Airbag Steering Wheel from a GU
Hi,
After putting a 4" lift kit in my GU the steering wheel is about 110deg out.
Can anyone tell me how to remove the steering wheel without setting the air bag off so I can centre up the steering wheel?
OR
Is there another way to correct the position of the steering wheel?
Regards

In an effort to increase competition, participation and numbers in standard class has there ever been any thought of allowing the use of a single locker, be it front or rear?

Fitting Adjustable Panhard Rods to a GU
Hey Guys,
Got hold of some adjustable panhard rods that are marketed for GQ/GU.
Problem is the gusset on the chassis front and rear is much wider than the knuckle and bush on the rod. When fitted there is a gap of approx 20mm. I am sure this will lead to movement and flogging out of the bush if ...

I think I had 442 after adjustment in 2005.

Has anyone fitted a 120 Amp Alternator from AEA to their TD42? I think the standard alternator is 60 amps. Mine fried from the Mud at Willowglen on the weekend.

Not sure how we did. Have to wait for the full list of results.
I finished 22 points behind 3rd place in Trophy Class.

Guys,
We have broken one of our vehicles and do not have a reserve.
If anyone is still keen for a drive at Willowglen with less than a week to prepare then please give me a call on 0429387758 ASAP.
At this stage we will drive with 3 if we don't get a starter.
