Lights? Do some stop tests and then work out what sort of penetration you REALLY need out of them. WAAAAAAAAAAAAaaaaaaaaaaaaaaayyyyyy too many people have been sold the idea that you need to be able to see 600km down the road to be "safe" or comfortable at night ...

I have history with doing sidewalls :shock: you could easily cut a sidewall on any tyre, its not a brand thing...

That is one opinion.

This is another opinion.

I do believe some tyres are better than others. But price isn't necessarily a good indicator ...

I've had a Rockstomper and have a Winchline rope. Nothing wrong with the Rockstomper but I like the Winchline better. To me it appears better made. I wouldn't get the Winchline rope protector as it's too thick. I cut it off and fitted standard rock climbiing rope protector much like the Rockstomper ...
