Turns out the spring sent was the wrong one. Correct spring on the way. Free length for an original spring would be great info if anyone knows?

Re: 2h oil pressure relief valve plunger
The spring should be the same length. I thought I would just replace mine to be safe. I thought the one they sent was an upgraded spring. But I really have no idea. I will call east coast 4x4 today and let you know

Re: 2h oil pressure relief valve plunger
I picked up the oversized plunger and spring from eastcoast 4x4. The spring supplied was about 25 mm longer than the current spring. I fitted the plunger, the spring was the wrong one. Fully compressed the cap would not screw down, so I installed with the current spring. My problem was low oil press...

Re: 2h wont start glow plug problem
Check connection where wire meets bus bar. Do you have a multi meter? or a test light? Connect to bus bar, turn on ignition and see if you are getting power to your plugs.

Re: 2h wont start glow plug problem
I had same problem. It was the continuity between the bus bar and connector on the No 1 plug. Then I tried to remove the nut and snapped the threaded part of the glow plug off. A new set in now sandpapered all connections on the bus bar and all is good

Eng warning lamp.
The warning lamp on my GU comes on intermittently. Any idea why? Or how to get the fault codes out of the ecu. Also how do I reset the ecu?

2h oil pressure relief valve plunger
Does anyone know where I can get the oversized plunger from for my 2h.
They are on ebay for $80, a bit overpriced for me.
Cheers.

Re: Gearbox sticking in 3rd
Thanks for the replys. Today I dropped the box out and took off the top. Was rushed for time so just had a quick look. The brass syncros look rooted on the third gear syncro. Will pull out shaft and inspect them properly when I get the time. The gears all look like new. Anyone know the best place to...

Gearbox sticking in 3rd
Every now and then my gbox gets stuck in third gear and it's very hard to pull out. Someone told me the synchro was shot.
I would have thought if the synchro was gone it would make it hard to get into gear not getting it out of gear.
Any ideas?
86 Troopy.
Thanks.

2h starting problem
This afternoon I tried to start my troopy with no luck. Normally I hear a relay click and then another a few seconds later. I only hear the first relay now.
Any idea where the relays are located or any checks I can make?
86 Troopy.
Thanks. Daniel.

Swivel hubs
I have just bought my first troopy. An 86. One of the front swivel hubs looks like it is leaking. Question: Are they greased or oil filled?
Thanks.
Thanks.
