So far I have found them good.
I would rate them over tough dogs.
Thats about all I have had a chance to compare them to.

It has got all of the same size/brand tyres on it.
I have spoken to a few people also who have recommended the later model diff with either a LSD or put a locker in there.
That looks like the next thing to try.

Thanks for all your help guys, you have been a BIG help.

I have seen a bloke running a divorced 720 transfer with a TH400 and a fully worked 454 BB.
He said he had tried a few different transfers and nothing holds up better than the 720.
That was in a off road racer.

40 series and 70 series diffs the same?

I have a mate who has just blown the diff in his 45 series cruiser.
I have s spare diff out of a BJ70 sitting here.
Will the centre out of the 70 series fit in the 45 series?.
Are the axles the same?.
Or would it be easier to put the whole diff in?.

I might wait until I hear how they are.
Another brand I seen when I was up at tuff trucks in '06' was
Edelbrock shockers.
They looked all right.
Does any one have any information on them?.
