yoke seal

hey folks, a mate is about to buy a GV (03, V6) also and an inspection report has come back saying that the "yoke seal" needs replacing. do you think it would be reasonably safe to assume this would be the oil seal on the back of the xfer case? could there be greater implications that he should be ...

I have a mate that runs 32 mongels on a NT with only a 2' body lift and ext shackles. there is no scrub under compession or lock. REALLY? My old NT spook had 3" spring and 2" body, 32x10.5 mongrels on 15x5.5 sunrasia rims. rubbed one full lock under compression and in the read on full compression ...

Is the overflow instant or does it take a while to begin overflowing?

I'd be looking for the drain holes in the bottom of the door - make sure they aren't blocked or rusted over.

I never had plastic sheeting on the doors of my old spook and never experienced that.

Less hassle to just tape up the window and paint the door. Getting it out and back in without potentially damaging the glass or rubber might be a problem. I have done 3 for 3 without problems, it aint that hard if your careful getting it out....it will only go one way. more likely roll and push the ...
