hey huddo i all so look at geting different piston for my luxs .
everyone one i spoke to said they dont make any ,one bloke said to me you could get a sleve made up and put in the bore and thats about it and a good rebuilder where do you live cheers gavin

thanks mick i had enough, when i change the oil there was a bit of metal filings on the plug how much is all right because my was cover but it has been a long time sence it has been done cause my machanic which i dont think he every change it cheers gavin

iam runing jungle trekers so after awile the noies gets to me ,and the power it takes out of my lux is another good reason to take then off and i have all ready been done for speeding.
Plus it doesnt take long to change over :D :D

yeah i have thought about the boys in blue and i had talk to mick about it he is going to kept it has low as he can and still with good flexs and i only run 31s around town then put the 33 on when i go off road just so dont stand out to much

eliteforce32 iam interested to now what you have and how high you sit and how much it cost cause iam looking at about $5000 for my kit that is with x over steering puting rears springs up the front, drop shackles in the rear, geting the front diff moved and is only going to sit just a bit over 3 inch

yeah iam geting mick to do so it all done right i have to get custom spring made up 120mm longer and get a frame rear ect list goes on .
mick sad after he is finshed i should be able to get my tire onto 44 galon dum with out lifting a rear wheel

Hey all just after a few snippets of advice. In the middle of making me some extended shackles...I have decided on a length of 150mm pin to pin which equates to a length change of 50mm on the rear shackles and 75mm on the front shackles.

while servising my 2.8 luxs today i went to check my gear box level and found that there was a hose that ran from my t/case check/fill plug to my gear box check/fill plug but it says nothing about this in my servise manual now wtf is that doing there should it be there ive only stared to do the ...

i just done my fuel filter and all i had to do was to pump the button and it went first go the filter was that old that it was starting to rust and ive done the oil ,oil filter, geased it, checked the brakes and air filter ok what have i missed and is there any thing that i have to gease on the ...

also gavin when you do your fuel fitler the 2.8 deisels are really hard to prime or pump new fuel through stick a air compresser hose in the petrol tank seal it then pump comes through so much easier.

lol one way of doing it i guess!

definantly buy a workshop manual, the toyota one is the best ...

to start you need to susport the front off the ground by the rail and use a jacks to lift it up and down to get then off if is not level {the diff} it is very hard to get off and you have to do both side at the same time.
dont try and lift one side and do that and then do the other it doesnt work ...

4x4famliy i have iron man suspension it is not bad for the price you pay but i would not bye it again. I dont get much flex out off it, a gye in my club has the ome springs and they work well. Lots off flex and a nice ride
