Are you saying you wouldnt do the flip at all or flip with spacer or both?? I was just thinking of doing the ball joint flip but if its going to cause other problems I think Ill give it a miss. I wouldn't do either of the above. Your welcome to try it, my abusive style of driving may have been a ...

I would recommend not doing it at all. It screws with the steering geometry. Once I did it on the old truck it started spitting out tierods and bending idler arms at an expensive rate.

The new truck will not be getting this done unless away of keeping idler arms from bending can be thought up.

Remote mounted trans cooler...

Hi everyone, I wanted to know if any of you have seen, or heard of any Pajeros with a remote mounted trans cooler. I need to move the cooler on my 95 3.5 some where else. I have two choices... both would use a new bigger plate cooler with a fan on it. I can mount one in the hood and run flex lines ...

What you have to remember is that 10000lb is around 5 tonne, so they all met SWL. If you want to exceed SWL then thats where the SHTF. obviously 2 hooks will distribute the load and halve the forces leading to the snatch strap failing before the either of the hooks (hopefully less of a projectile ...

I don't care what they call it... lol.

It is a trailing arm suspension with a panhard rod.

It may act like a 5 link since the trailing arms connect on two spots on the axle tubes, and are equal length, but that isn't what it is. :P

First time I have seen it, but with semi floater axles any time you blow the axle shaft there are chances that it might walk out of the housing.

More torque puts more strain on everything down the line of the tcase, but I don't think this increase puts us any where near a point where the axles and drive lines become weak.

5mm for the ARB or 5mm for the factory locker?

Sounds like you have carbon build up in the head, or your timing is off.
