The engine is a 2.5 liter commonrail diesel. DID. 136BHP and 314Nm.
There are two models to choose. Intense and Intense Lux. You can also get automatic transmission.(4 Speed). Intense Lux have Electro Traction and Stabilty Cont. without Back Diff Lock.

Hi All,
I bought the new L200 with the SuperSelect transmission just like the pajero have. It rides very stable on four wheel drive on snow and ice just like a subaru impreza. you can drive it on wet asphalt. I am very pleased with the performance of the new engine.

l 200 diesel at 2000 rpm will be going about 100km/h. 2.6l petrol pajero turns 3000 rpm for the same speed. so you will end up with some other corrections to do.

Hi Guys,

I would like to change my Pajeros 2.6L petrol engine(4G54) with a 2.5L diesel(4D55). Do I have to get the diesels transmission box or would my old transbox work ok with it? How would this effect my top speed? and etc.
