Don't forget there is quite a bit of space under the seat where it used to be stored once it was lifted. Can easily fit pushchair or even 2 or maybe 3-4 small how you call them eskys. Not pram though. Man you've got some different terminology.

I dont think you did enough reading. The wheel is under tension for as far as it can travel. If you flip the ball joint the cv angles improve.
Don't. Aside of safety another bad thing about flip with adj hight susp would be incorrect castor. On normal suspension once you flipp since one's car ...

Strange. I always thought that 28 spline shaft was as sign of larger 8" ring gear and 25 spline 7.5" correspondingly. At least you get this impression from ARB catalog.

Few years back I broke/replace axle shaft in my 92. You don't need to destroy bearings though. There is a retaining ring which holds bearings to axle shaft it has to be ground off using angle grinder and replaced with new one at reassembly. You indeed need a good press to fit it back together ...

5.29 mystery (5.285)

Somebody in russia just swapped his diesel with manual 4.875 gears for set of 5.285 diffs. Rear on is easy as we all know that. He actuall got one with factory locker. But herein is the mystery he was able to find second hand front diff with 5.285 from some other allegedly P2 which indeed accepts ...

BTW when you installed it , did you hook up the switch in the diff, so that it displays the dash icon??

SR is equivalent of GLS I guess - top of the line truck with all bells and whistles: 3.5L, leather, locker, bigger axle, sunroof so on. LS had smaller 3.0L, cloth, open diff, etc. Unfortunately there is no 4.9 since it was installed on 2.8TD and we never saw this one. You’ll either get 4.636, or 4 ...

You could try lookup accross the pond. Here stateside locker was standard equipment on all Mitsu Montero(same as Pajero) SR(not LS) 94 through 97 then later all Models (there was only one) 98-99. You can get rear carrier as cheap as US $150 as long as they would be willing to ship it. Still ...

That's funny here in US sometimes prices at the Mitsu Dealer for OEM parts especially with online store are less then generic part from autoparts store.
Although that oxygen sensor goes for about AU$250 for rear and $120 for front one.

I believe by 96 even a 3.0L models had same 35mm body lift. It's absent only on early gen 2. After introduction of 3.0 24V all models had bodylift to accomodate larger transmission. Regardless I run 33" without a lift. Cranking tbars - is not a lift. Just merely increase in riding hight It's by no ...

That's right.
Here is some interesting reading:

Compared to the AC, the K&N “plugged up” nearly 3 times faster, passed 18 times more dirt and captured 37 ...

One other factor is suspension. Climbing steep hill front suspesion relaxes while rear is compressed which can lead to perception of steeper angle than it actually is. I'd say 5 degrees or more is not out of the question. Same happens down hill and traverse.

Torque converter is the hydraulic motor-pump unit in front of at transmission behind the flywheel. Is and always will be mechanical. Also I believe OD works in 2Low. Just gain enough speed turn OD on and off it should be noticable.
