Re: GU auto hubs on a Gq

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news but the GU auto hub wont fit a GQ - or at least mine did not ( onto a 92 GQ). Auto hubs will also need the axle spindle as there are 'teeth' around it that interact with the auto hub

Re: gq diff vs gu diff

Well in that case the centers are the same. Early GQ airlockers did have a spacer in them though which prevented the GU axles to slide in.
thats correct when i went to put my gq lockers into the GU it was the earlier model locker that was for a gq only, arb do a conversion kit to convert it into ...

Re: LSD into GQ Front

LSD centre out of a h233B rear navara is the same spline count as patrol front. Took a bit of mucking around to find what models it was in pretty sure I ended up finding single cab d22 ran that diff. I bolted the centre into a GU after removing a spacer block from the middle where the axles come ...

Why would you modify the Auto hubs to be manual? if your going to that much trouble, get manual ones, atleast you don't need to have the tyre iron with you to lock them in, if you have that in the back of the car and want to lock them in but can't get to it cause you have your tools and that around ...
