Hey i kinda dumped the clutch a little bit in 1st gear and now my gearstick moves a long way i heard a crunch and i think something fell through the gearbox all the gears work fine, it stays in gear, linkages seem to all be good, the gear stick just seems to shivel a lot now allowing it to move in ...

yeh so when i put it on.. do i need to use any stuff to seal it or anything its just buy the gasket take the rocker cover off.. remove the remains of the old one do i clean up a bit? put teh new gasket down bolt the rocker cover back on.. and make sure i have all the leads back in the right place so ...

Hey there is oil all around my rocker cover.. this is obviously the rocker gasket? how hard is this to change and what do ihave to do exactly..

there is also oil all over the bellhousing.. could this be from the rocker gasket or would this be another leak

Hey i recently just bought a set of 4 shocks standard height

Now i just bought a set of 4 raised springs 50mm...

Will the standard shocks be any good for the raised springs or will i just kill them or will they just not fit..

Hey, I went into automasters and i got my front wheel bearings done cost me a few hundred odd... First problem is, is they put my front left hub on wrong and so i cant lock it correctly so no 4wd for me at the moment. yeh it doesnt make the noise when i use the clutch

so what type of back brakes does a sierra have and how do they work?

is it hard to change them? and where are they?

i drove a few times with the handbrake on by accident wouldve this caused it?

I just got my front wheel bearings done and yeah there is still this noise when i brake at the rear o fthe car the guy said i should get my rear brakes checked... Does a 87 sierra have rear brakes? I have a feeling its the exhaust cause it just starts after i finished and smacked my exhaust a bit ...

it is both the front

the passenger side there is 2 noises.. the disc and some whirring noise
drivers side its just the disc

u hear a squeaking when im actually driving and the tyres dont move around smoothe at all :(

hey,

i jacked up the drivers side of my sierra to check the tyres

The tyre doesnt move more then 1mm but when i turn it, it makes a scraping noise like ScrhhHhh what could that be?

i smashed in a curb after a calculus exam pretty hard.. so ig ot wheel alignment and balance done after that..

only other thing i done was get towed down a few hills about 10km and that heated up my brakes a lot cause i had to have them right on

The wheel on the drivers side of my sierra is making a lot of noises.. when 4wding you can hear a lot of squeaks..

When on the open road u hear a humming noise and a irratic squeaking noise

What could be wrong with it? It is getting worse and worse :|

yeh it is a softop..

i can just hear engine revs etc etc just sounds rather noisy!! other cars are way more sound proof haha

from the back i can only hear the exhaust doing its thing.. :)

Cutting out engine noise!!

Are sierras just generally noisy or is it a sign they are going? Put a new gearbox in.. that no longer makes a noise!! but that is all the other noises the car makes.. Is carpetting it a good idea? (with cheap offcuts) and will that help at all? What about that spray on stuff! give me ideas and ...

yeah ive seen out of a sierra before thats how i know what it looks like! Its just yeah when i fiirst got the sierra year or so back everyone went on about

Exhaust/extractors which ive now done
and removing the sway bar...

so yeh :) take it off and see how it feels 2morrow
