Hi, the Transfer case is great, just a few leaks that i'll fix for the RWC.
I've just bought a Prado, since i don't get off road much and the mrs's wanted something newer.
I'll be sad to see the Rangie go. Apart from a few small incidents she's been a great truck.
Do you want to buy it Matt???

If you want to run standard rims, i run 265/75 16's on a 2" lift. They only rub on radius arm on full lock. No grinder needed.

I've had them on my Rangie for 10 months. Great tyre for the money. In nearly 20,000km they have warn from 17mm tread to 12mm. I paid $170ea for 265/75-16. I'd buy another set.

24 splines into Rangie Diff

I went up to Mt Dissapointment on Saturday and destroyed my rear diff in my '89 Rangie. I'm looking at buying a detroit locker in a Rangie diff housing. The guy has been running JMac 24 spline axles. So the question is can i run standard disco 24 spline axles? Is the hub the same as the origional 10 ...

Under Diff Clearance- What You Got?

Thought it would be interesting to see how much clearance under the diffs everyone has. So tell us what you drive? What tyres you run (size & make)? How many mm of clearance you have (at road pressures)? I have an '89 Rangie and i run 265/75-16 (32") Nankang Mudstars. I have 245mm of clearance under ...

Hi, im starting to plan what to do with my diffs in '89 Rangie so i can run 35's. After reading what many of you have done, i was thinking of using a GQ in the front and 80 series in the back? Will this work? Will the track be the same? Also does anyone know someone in Melbourne who could do the ...

My rear diff in my '89 Rangie is about to die, so im looking at puting another diff in. Can i put a 24 spline diff from a series 1 disco in? Will it just bolt in or do i have to fabricate anything? Also is it worth spending the extra money on a 24 over a 10 spline? I would like to put in an air ...

Recovery points are such a basic reqirement, but its good to look at the likely possibility that you will come across someone without them.
