24 splines into Rangie Diff
I went up to Mt Dissapointment on Saturday and destroyed my rear diff in my '89 Rangie. I'm looking at buying a detroit locker in a Rangie diff housing. The guy has been running JMac 24 spline axles. So the question is can i run standard disco 24 spline axles? Is the hub the same as the origional 10 ...

Under Diff Clearance- What You Got?
Thought it would be interesting to see how much clearance under the diffs everyone has. So tell us what you drive? What tyres you run (size & make)? How many mm of clearance you have (at road pressures)? I have an '89 Rangie and i run 265/75-16 (32") Nankang Mudstars. I have 245mm of clearance under ...

I don't want to waste money on fixxing the standard diff when they are useless. I use the Rangie ...

Diff Conversion???
Hi, im starting to plan what to do with my diffs in '89 Rangie so i can run 35's. After reading what many of you have done, i was thinking of using a GQ in the front and 80 series in the back? Will this work? Will the track be the same? Also does anyone know someone in Melbourne who could do the ...

Disco diffs in a Rangie
My rear diff in my '89 Rangie is about to die, so im looking at puting another diff in. Can i put a 24 spline diff from a series 1 disco in? Will it just bolt in or do i have to fabricate anything? Also is it worth spending the extra money on a 24 over a 10 spline? I would like to put in an air ...

Recovery on IFS without recovery points
Im planning a trip out with a few newby's to 4wding. A Pajero, Prado etc. If i have to recover them and they don't have a proper point at the front what do i hook the snatch strap on to? On a live axle you can get away with wraping the strap around the axle, but what do you do with a IFS?(other than ...

minimum required for 35's on Rangie
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Ok, every time i go offroad lately i get stuck in a mud hole. Traction is never a problem, its the diffs that get hung up. So im thinking that instead of going down the diff lock road at the moment, that i go for some ...

Pro Comp Shocks
Who is using Pro Comp Shocks?
What do you think?
How do they compare to bilstiens, koni etc?
4WD STUFF can supply at a great price, but i would like a bit of feedback from those of you who use them.
Thanks.

coil spacers and longer shocks
I currently have a 2" lift and need new shocks. Can i put in a 1" coil spacer and uses some longer shocks, to get a 3" overall lift? If so who makes longer shocks? I'm on a tight budget and have only recently put in the new springs, but since fitting 32" tyres would like a bit more lift and as i ...
