Try the kick panels. Of memory it is taped to the wiring loom. two wires going into a little black plastic thingy (diode pack). Wire colours something like these red / black red /white red/ yellow

Once you move it forward it may hit the tubing under the headlight too. I believe mitch's use to rub in places too. Mud_Muncher will catch up soon and talk ideals.

OMU 40mm lift from ARB. Think it's around $700 springs and shocks. You will need to trim the the front guards a little at the bottom rear.

I've heard yes. Lower ratios. I believe someone is trying to remove the electric transfer and put in the older manual type. It's meant to be lower ratios. Not sure where the gears are from. The auto or newer type3 vvt. Search jimny.se too

You may need to cut a little from the back of the transfer hole. In low it may not go in 100% and will tend to pop of of gear. Front left brake hose . Maybe do a small spacer on the steering. It can pull / move the bearing on the shalf in the fire wall. Not sure if a two inch can be done on the ...

What is the ideal behind this. You can get gears for the jimny. Would cost about the same as a conversion kit. A company is syd dose them too. Squik and other in the NSW suzuki club went that way.

Its will depend on wheel offset too. On a standard 5.5 you will only need alittle from the guard at the bottom rear.You did not have to do the bumper. Have fun.

No mods are needed. I have the ome kit. Love it. Most 2 inch kit are really 40mm too. Try www.jimny.se lots of jimny owners. Also with a 2 lift you can get a 30 with a little trimming in the guards. If your not handy with the tools go for a 28 inch tyre. Plus its legal too.
