I just dont like the wheels on the tail gate and would rather shut the rear gate to enclose the tray just so I can still put stuff in there. I would rather a tray too for work reasons also.

Tray for twin cab hilux 02.

Hi I have an 2002 twin cab lux and was interested in swapping the style side for a tray mainly for transporting trail bikes. I was just wondering what the standard tray size for a twin cab was as if it was too short I may need to get somthing custom to get it long enough to get a bike on straight. I ...

G'day I have owned my TD 03 lux now for about 12mnths and its been a good truck except there is a vibrating noise which with revs gets slightly higher pitch and I have been told the fuel lines were causing this problem but im doubtfull. yeah I didnt think there was much weight in it but i wouldnt mind making up a c channel grid for two bikes and with extra two inside tire down points. C channel wouldnt bolt in, sheer weight on it would be enough to hold it all in place.

Trail Bike on a dual cab lux.

G'day all I am wondering who here carries their bike on the dual cab lux and what they use or have made up to take weight of the tail gate. I have put my bike on a few times but offen worry about the tailgate being over stressed. I was going to make up a plate that allows the back wheel to sit on ...

dont weld the front due to poor turning circle, just weld the rear works pretty good although its a little dodgy but I had one for in my last lux and worked well, cheaper then getting a air locker especially if you truck is only worth just more then the air locker it self!

Think I will go the BFG's , providing the are acceptable on the wet roads. Thanks for the input !

Geeze alot people have different views on them, I'd be on the road most of the time so the MTR's may wear a little early for me.. Would just hope the BFG's wouldnt slip and slide on wet roads.

Wifey doesnt drive my 4B but I dont reakon they wouldf it a pulsar without a guard trim..

I have an 03 TD lux and have noticed a clunking noise when I change gears from the rear end. Its not very loud but you can tell its there. My main question is are these diffs prone to getting worn out around the 100K mark? This noise may be a uni possibly or tailshaft but its so darn hard pin ...

Im looking a 5LE tommorow for 16K and would justify that because I could get a turbo on it later. This particular 3.4 has been babied its hole life so its looking like a possible goer, the power output is impressive too.
