pajero tdi blown turbo advice needed

The intake manifold gasket blew and then oil spewed out everywhere.
Took the inter cooler pipe off and oil ran out of the turbo ,so I am assuming the turbo seal is gone. All pipes are covered in oil.The turbo has very minor play in the shaft but hasn't rubbed the blades on the body.

Turbo is a td04 ...

Petrol in Diesel

A mechanic recommended I put a litre or so of petrol in with my full tank of diesel to give it a bit more go and get better economy.

Too scared to do so but what are the thoughts out there? Is it a common thing that people do?

balck oil

I got my rebuilt gearbox back and the oil was black as could be. Had an additive that made the oil go like motor oil. Guy warned me as I left the store that the oil would be black as the ace of spades

feroza /paj

I have owned both , hey are both good but I would chose the paj. It is a bit more refined and possibly more reliable. I bent my ferozo from too much flex and blew a gear box and diff from water crossings. The paj I had for 10 years with no major troubles and they both did extreme 4x4. The paj is ...
