in my car the same happens with my subs. i have a jvc head.

i have 2 1000w amps and when i turn them up it cuts out. i think it might be a low battery cut out or something.

i just put some flares on my paj. the cheepest that i found is going into bunnings warehouse and getting garden edging. its about 10cm wide black UV resistant plastic. it was pretty cheep and will do all 4 wheel arches with one roll.

it looks great too. :)

yeah my 2.8 chews the glow plugs.
i have to change them once a year or so.
in winter i double glow the plugs to get it to start a bit easier.
and the black smoke is normal. mine poors out 1st thing in the morning and has so little power that it can hardly move, so i just give it more time to warm up.

yeah i searched this a while ago.
genuine is the only way. they cost more but are worth it. i bought some multi fit ones and they split pretty quickly, so i ended up getting a whole shaft and boot from wreckers.

my 3.0 v6 had same problem.
after changing all the ignition leads the coil ended up cracking and the car stopped, so just replace the leads and then silicone up all the ends so water doesnt run down the leads.

is your dash switch going to regulate the amount of time the solenoid is erergised for???
did you just get a regular mechanic to check them or did you take it to mitsubishi service?

i was looking into getting free wheeling hubs for my nl 2.8 today because i have stripped the splines of the old hub assembly and off the drive shaft. but ARB catalogue says that they are only for up to 97 model... does this mean that mine being a 99 model has different splines (coarser or finer) i ...

yeah same just used crimped joiners and joined them in up at the back of the indicator.
just need to undo the front screws neer the grill and pop off the retainig spring if i remember correctly to access the rear of the indicators.
