It will bolt up to a GQ RB30 gearbox, and like Mark says 95% they bolt up to a RD28 gearbox too

Would it perhaps be easier to make one (or both) diff mounts adjustable a bit (maybe bolt on with shims) then you could use off the shelf arms and still have a few degrees of adjustment for your castor? how much adjustment do you want?

I got 35" tyres under mine with only 2" shackles and a guard chop.. didn't rub at all apart from the indicator backing plate at the front of the front arches, but a little bend and that was fixed

I bought a GQ with the ABT high steer arms on it.. not too impressed with the uptravel they allow.. ill try and find a picture but i have issues with the tie rod hitting the pitman arm on full compression on the RHS.. and the oil filter on the LHS (5L V8) heres a pic.. not at full flex.. http://i420 ...

Not sure on how well they actually work..

But they are the best looking tyres, they just look mean .. not sure thats the highest priority in tyres tho!!

Thanks for the welding idea it worked well.. didn't just fall out.. but a bit of a tap and it was done :) Pics in case anyone wants a visual reference.. I saw the panhard bushes on the schematic she had. 2 piece bush shown going in either side of the panhard ends the number was 55135###

Assuming that is Nissan fast she used to look up the parts.. then they are definitely there..

yeah i just bought a gq that has a 3 link plus panhard front end with hein joints on the links chassis end and gq rear trailing arm bushes on the diff end (except the panhard)

ok back from my epic senario at nissan.. They ordered in the bushes i get there and they are 2 piece solid rubber bushes (pan hard bushes) I go these are the wrong bushes.. she looks up the part number again and gets the schematic out and goes no they are the right ones.. I twig on and say no these ...

Rear is custom links with heim joints chassis end and the same bushes diff end.. Im pretty sure they are trailing arm bushes but asked at Nissan and they said that the trailing arm bushes they had were rubber only.. no steel rings

Readily available is 4.625 in all petrol mq/mks adn SOME SD33 diesels..
4.88 are available from in some utes but much harder to find..

when welding ally your travel speed increases as you weld.... theres a few other little tricks to it, but is achieveable... dont think id try it with a machine under 200amps though... They sell a alloy spool gun for the 180c might have to check up the thickness's it can actually weld tho.. only ...

So since you have it sorted wanna share your learnings?

I'm thinking of giving it a go with my lincoln 180c..

Hey guys, My Mate just got a GQ to try and outdo my MQ and he is trying to get it a RWC.. it has a dent in the gas tank on the bottom edge clearly where the previous owner has hit it on something.. not huge but a decent dimple about 30mm long 15mm wide.. Never seen one break.. heard that they could because of only having 4 main bearings.. What was he doing when it broke? was the engine loaded up? any chance of some pics of the break when u pull it out? its not hard to tell if it was cracked/fatigued before it broke by looking at the break.. Hmm very tough one to figure out.. to figure it out properly you would need to know the torsion rate of the bar and the rough force in which you want to dampen the body roll at the point in which the bar is connected to the chassis.. i would prob go with about the same length arms that torque the ...

Araldite (spelling) and a hose clamp and it will be stronger than new.. if you NEVER ever want to pull it apart cover the thread in araldite too and screw it in.. my 2c
