Those event were run by Allan Lawson. He has just run one the other weekend after his "Yaraka Event" was postponed.

I believe that between him and Landcruiser Mountain Park they are running a Series next year for these type of vehicle's.

How about a 4wd rally event with speeds up to 130k's but mostly around 80to 90 k's through 4wd sections, events like this were held many years ago. they where called toowoomba 4wd rally and bush and beach rally, we used to race around landcruiser park and drive test tracks and things like hilux hill ...

It was called a Roberts diff lock, i bought my first one in 1985, never had any problems with it, except for breaking an axle , my fault :?

Yea happend to me once, ended up breaking axle when the housing broke, heaps of problems getting the car out of the bush, as the diff housing was sitting on the ground

both the manual and auto lockers have their anvantages and disadvantages, however if you want to run the super select system on the road,you will have to go for a manual locker, ie arb..... shane :cool:

yea grant, the red shorty has done about 460 thousand klms, and the motor hasnt been touched except for one timing belt and normal maintanence. its still a pretty good car.

also less chance of dot picking on you for modifications with a pajero, they go well offroad with good gearing and a couple of lockers

grant, ive had pajeros and still got one,also have a gu 4.2 diesel coily ute, these are two very different cars,ons better offroad and ones better on, i would be happy to answer any questions you might have.... shane

yea welded front is a cheap locker, i've had a few front and rear,better than no locker at all :D
